What if we held another LAN party?
That's what the staff is discussing right now. But, like always, we want to hear from people interested in showing up. What kind of LAN party do people want to see? What games are you all playing?
To that end, we've revamped the forums (still under construction some) and invite you to log in and let us know what you think. Or just give us a hard time for not holding a party in a long time.

At this point, it looks like Gamers' Gauntlet is on indefinite hiatus. There has been no news because there has been no activity regarding future G2 LAN parties. At this point, no one has any idea when there will be another G2, or even if there will be one. It seems to be a combination of real life, locations problems, and simultaneous staff burnout. Plus with Burlington's distance and raised prices, the last site's small size, and the lack of response and/or reasonable prices from local sites, we are still without an appropriate location for a party. If anything changes, you'll see it here.

No, we're not dead. Some of us were just mostly dead all day.
Stay tuned for more information. If I had any specifics, rest assured, I would post them.

I want to thank everyone who attended G2-III for showing up and having a blast. Also, a big thanks to all the staff and people who helped set-up, load and unload cars, built servers, and did all that grunt work. The new location threw us some curve-balls, but we came out on top.
As soon as G2 was over, everyone starts thinking down the road for the next event and the staff will be discussing that this week. Every bit of input (good and bad) that we heard at the event (and afterwards) will be thrown into the mix as we decide how we can make G2-IV the best event ever. If you have any kind of input, criticism, thanks, or ideas, you can go to our forums or feel free to send the staff some e-mail.

G2 draws closer. What does that mean? It means that staff are all crossing our T's, dotting our I's, and making sure we don't forget anything. A small list of things to remember when you make your way to LAN party goodness:
- Register at the G2 desk before you lug all your equipment in.
- Get there early to reserve seats for your friends.
- Wear pants.
- Bring bail money.
I'm sure there are more things to remember (like to bring your computer), so get to it. You don't want to show up at G2 pantless.

Just a heads up for all of those people who are looking for a seat at the upcoming G2. If, when you registered, you gave us a valid e-mail address, you were added to our announcement mailing list. This list is never sold nor given away and we use it EXCLUSIVELY to contact past and present G2 attendees about upcoming and important G2 information. That list is also how we spread information about seats becoming available for the next G2 if and when people cancel. As soon as a seat becomes open, Quintin Stone will let everyone on that mailing list know and whoever gets their payment in first gets the seat.
That also means that, once again, I'm going to ask that if you know you will not be able to attend G2-III, please please please let Quintin Stone or myself know as soon as possible. This is so that we can offer the seat to those who are waiting for one.

Just this past weekend, the F.R.A.G. staff got together for our Server Test. This is where we build and test game servers for the upcoming event. So, if you thought we were just sitting around on our asses ... you were kinda right. I mean, we don't dance around like happy little elves when we work on servers.

Wow, registration is full. At this point, if you can't make it, but you have payed, please let Quintin Stone or Bad Mojo know so we can give you a refund and open your spot to someone else who wants to attend.

We meet again, News Update! Have at you!
Time is running out and LouZiffer was quick to point out that 88 people registered, 72 seats available, 16 people may not get a seat. This urged me to remind everyone that if you want to make sure that a toasty, warm seat is waiting for you at the next G2, you'll need to pay ahead of time.
We're also hard at work getting a lot of the finer points worked out for the event. Our directions/location page is up. We're perfecting our tournament rules and should have them up ASAP. Stay tuned.

We're at the halfway point. 36 out of 72 people have pre-payed and time is running out. Not only do you save some cash, you also don't have to worry about us giving you a crappy nametag that I handwrote with a pen in my left foot.
